SONEX Clean Baffles, Panels and Ceiling Tiles

SONEX Clean Baffles, Panels and Ceiling Tiles New from pinta acoustic (formerly illbruck acoustic) is the SONEX Clean Baffles, Panels and Ceiling Tiles, acoustical solutions for clean-room environments and those that require cleanable, washable, durable surfaces.

The products were expressly developed for bottling and food processing plants, clean rooms and food preparation areas.

SONEX Clean Baffles, Panels and Ceiling Tiles are fully encapsulated in FR taffeta vinyl and meet USDA and FDA requirements. The 2-inch thick baffles, panels and tiles are made with an ASTM E84 Class 1 fire-rated willtec® melamine foam core. Dimensions of baffles and panels are 24 inches by 48 inches and ceiling tiles are 24 inches by 24 inches.

SONEX Clean products provide exceptional sound absorption to reduce reverberation or echo in environments that typically have hard surfaces. The noise reduction coefficiency ranges from 0.75 for ceiling tiles to 0.80 for wall panels and averages 8.20 sabins for baffles.

The products are available in 17 standard colors and are washable, cleanable and durable. The products are fungus and microbe resistant.

SONEX Clean Ceiling Tiles are lightweight and drop easily into pinta acoustic and other standard ceiling grid systems. The panels attach in seconds to wall and ceiling surfaces with pinta’s acouSTIC water-based adhesive, or with hook and loop. Baffles are equipped with grommets and install easily on ceiling-mounted cables or chains.

ProHeat 2000 Kasi Infrared

ProHeat 2000 Kasi Infrared has recently launched the new ProHeat 2000, a new instrument that can turn a pavement restoration job that takes a 5 to 6-man crew 1 to 2 days into a two-man, 20 minute job.

In addition to its cost savings, infrared technology allows more effective asphalt repairs. Traditional repairs leave seams that allow water to penetrate the repair, and the repaired, filled-in portions nearly always fail within a year or so. Because infrared technology blends the new asphalt right in with the original by heating an area 6 to 8 inches beyond the cut, the new asphalt is seamless with the old and no sinking occurs.

The ProHeat 2000 features a 2 or 4-ton capacity asphalt reclaimer, a 48-square-foot UltraGlo infrared pavement heater, a heavy-duty compactor lift and 30 cubic feet of storage area. The convenient 5-tank system assures maximum operating time. In addition, a hydraulic compactor lift is now an option.

The ProHeat 2000 improves upon previously marketed trailer-mounted systems. It outperforms competing machines 2 to 1 when it comes to fuel economy, running on a 12-volt battery system instead of the normal 24-volt system that wears out motors 2 - 3 times faster. The propane volume used is also far less; one tank can last 16 - 18 hours, about a third ahead of the competition. The system also comes equipped with heavy-duty axles, stainless steel construction, and an extremely reliable electrical system.

Infrared can be used in all types of repairs in which traditional methods are used: alligator cracking, potholes, utility cuts, settling against concrete walks or barriers, and more.
