A new president at Sparling, marketing specialist Sandy Peron will serve as Director of Programs for SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) Seattle chapter for 2007-2008.

ISMPS is the only national association that delivers the necessary tools to promote marketing and management success in professional service firms. As director of programs, Peron is charged with planning and implementing programs for the chapter monthly luncheons.

Alliance Residential Company, a fully-integrated, multi-family real estate company announces the appointment of Jack Paauw, city partner for the Pacific Northwest Division. Paauw began his position in July bringing with him over 25 years of experience in multi-family and commercial development.

WRG hired the following people for its Portland office: Nick Danis, Civil Designer, Jenica Cogdill, Marketing Coordinator, Jenny Yeh, Accounting Manager, Michele Boer, Receptionist, Brenna Crumley, Project Assistant, Pam Eckis, Office Manager and Brian Hollenbach - Civil Sr. Project Designer.

Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. has added four new staff members. These members include: Steven Eggleston as a project architect and Kathy Aulwes and Steve Sandstrom as project designers.

Eggleston joined Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. as a project architect with 13 years of design experience. Aulwes brings 11 years of commercial, institutional, restoration, and educational design experience to the firm. Sandstrom received a professional degree of architecture from Washington State University and attended post graduate studies at the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts - School of Architecture in Denmark. He has 10 years of design experience including five years practicing in Europe with Dissing + Weitling, the successor firm of Arne Jacobsen. Steve's current projects include the Federal Reserve Bank renovation in Downtown Portland; and the new Cascades Academy, a K-12 private school in Bend, Oregon.

CDi Engineers recently hired Daniella Moreano as a mechanical designer and Lexa Henske as administrative/accounting assistant at its Lynnwood office.

Moreano, a 2007 mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, recently passed the Engineer-in-Training exam.

As CDi's new administrative/accounting assistant, Henske handles front desk and reception duties, as well as assisting with various accounting tasks. She is studying accounting through Central Washington University's Lynnwood campus.

Gray Purcell, Inc., a commercial general contractor, has promoted Cara McNulty to Accounts Receivable/Project Manager Assistant. In her new position, she will handle project billing, waivers, change orders, and assorted office duties, as well as editing the employee newsletter.

Sienna Architecture Company recently added several employees to its staff. Tom Jaleski, Travis Throckmorton, Paul Klein, Jon Eberhardt, and Andrew Lynch, were hired for the Portland office's architectural division. Richard Jordison and Barbara Browning join Sienna's Seattle office as architects, and Anne Wood is brought on as the Seattle office's administrative assistant.

Heather Scannell, CGR, CAPS, of Cooper Designbuilders earned the Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation, identifying her as on of the building industry's top professionals with skills and knowledge specific to home modifications for aging-in-place.

Integrated design firm DLR Group has added the following new professionals to the Pacific Northwest team: architectural intern Jonathan Bahe; electrical engineer Scott Gore; marketing professionals Fred VonDerLage and Jill Sten; and administrative support staff Sarah Gregg and Brynna Halbett.
