Hennebery Eddy / Sparling / Sienna / Gray Purcell / WATG / Lydig

Sienna Architecture hired Greg Acker as director of sustainability. He previously worked for the city of Portland and helped start the “G” rated program.

Hennebery Eddy Architects, I n c. has promoted two new associates: Doug Reimer and Kyle Womack ; and hired four new architectural staff members:
Philip Schmunk, Erica Dunn, Robert Kroster, and Dan Bedard. Reimer recently joined Hennebery Eddy Architects as a senior project architect / project manager with 25 years of experience.

Schmunk is a LEED accredited professional who brings several years of experience on large-scale urban projects. Dunn is a LEED Accredited Professional with a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon. Krotser received his Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon and his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Bedard recently graduated from the University of Kansas School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

Seattle-based Sparling named Nathan Larmore, CCNP, ICNC, MCSE, IT, Maureen Jackson, P. E. and Gwynn Raimondi as associates of the firm.

Gray Purcell, Inc., a commercial general contractor in Portland hired Clyde Kaneshiro as controller. Kaneshiro has three decades of experience in the finance and accounting arena.

Cynthia Jacobs of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG) has been promoted to managing director of the firm’s Seattle office. Jacobs is also a vice president and member of WATG’s board of directors.

Award-winning architect Greg Acker has joined Sienna Architecture Company as director of sustainability. Acker, known both locally and nationally for his expertise in sustainable design, brings over 30 years of sustainable design experience to Sienna. He joins Sienna from the City of Portland’s Office of Sustainable Development, where he helped create and promote G/Rated – one of the standards by which commercial building projects in Portland receive incentive funding and meet the city’s aggressive green building policy.

Lydig Construction, with offices in Spokane and Bellevue, Wash., recently promoted Nick Lambdin to project manager. His new duties will include owner/architect negotiation and coordination, owner contracts, project scheduling, subcontract administration, project cost control, hard bid and conceptual estimating and value engineering.

Donna Duncan has joined Lydig’s Spokane office as an estimating assistant, Richard Condrey as project manager and Gary Smith as a rentals technician.

Jake Lewing, E I T, joined Berger/Abam Engineers Inc. as a civil engineer at the company‘s branch office in Seattle. Jake’s background includes transportation - related systems, such as roadway design, drainage and utilities design, and construction support. He is currently working on Berger/Abam I-5/State Route 161/State Route 18 Triangle improvements project, near Federal Way.
