Sienna/Express/Sequoyah/ MulvannyG2

Sienna Architecture Co., Portland,  recently hired Phong Chau, Aaron Emma, Jon Ford and Michelle Mueller for the firm’s architectural division and Mike Carlton as Director of Information Technology. Kayla Flook was hired for the interior design department.        

 Chau's responsibilities include 3-D modeling and rendering for the firm’s projects and is a member of the Xi’an Towers design team, a multiple residential and commercial tower project in Xi’an, China. Emma is working on Elmer’s Restaurants and Rivers Condominiums in Salem, Ore. Ford is currently an Architecture student at Portland State University to receive his B.S. in Architecture in the spring of 2007.   Mueller is working on  Elmer’s Restaurants and a private winery in Walla Walla, Wash. Carlton is responsible for Sienna’s Information Technology, all computer systems and software. Flook will complete her Bachelor of Interior Design from Ball State University in December of this year.   

Former Interface Engineering Sustainability Director Jerry Yudelson moved to Tuscon to open his own consulting firm and edit a sustainable design and construction website. Lisa Greer, member of the Alaska Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) received the national “Tradeswoman of the Year” award in Kansas City, MO at the NAWIC National Conference recently. Greer founded Del Norte Surveying (DNS) in January 1986. DNS is a certified DBE, MBE, and WBE (Disadvantaged, Minority, and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise).

Express Construction has hired Joshua Cloud and Kyra Huxley as project engineers.  Cloud is currently working on, the Seattle Mental Health office renovation in Tukwila and the First Choice office building in downtown Seattle. Cloud brings several years of corporate sustainability and LEED™ consulting experiences to Express Construction.

Sequoyah Electric, LLC  recently hired  Vicki Verochio, Laura Thomas and Kevin Hazelwood. Verochio joins Sequoyah as a Project Manager for Division 41. Thomas joins Sequoyah Network Services as an Administrative Support person. Hazelwood joins Sequoyah’s Engineering Department as an AutoCAD Operator.
