The American Society of Landscape Architects named Thomas L. Berger, ASLA, or the The Berger Partnership, P.S., Seattle, Wash. a fellow.

Brent S. Compton, AIA, has joined Northwest Architectural Company (NAC) as an associate and senior project manager. Compton, who has nearly 20 years of diverse experience in the educational sector, will focus on K-12 projects.

Lloyd Wind, P.E., has been named associate at KPFF Consulting Engineers, a local civil and structural consulting engineering firm.

WRG Design Inc., a multi-disciplinary land development firm, focusing on land use planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying has grown its Portland staff by 15 staff members in the past four months. Currently WRG employees 300 people across its five office locations with 110 employed at the Portland office.

Christopher L. Hanvey, senior consultant with Interface Consulting International, Inc., recently attained the certified cost consultant (CCC) certification from AACE International, the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. AACE International's certification program validates the skills and knowledge of cost management professionals worldwide. Hanvey is a recognized specialist who, by his experience, education, and ethical qualifications, has met a demanding set of criteria set forth by AACE International.

The mechanical consulting firm of CDi Engineers has annouced the addition of six engineering staff members to its Lynnwood, Wash. office: Mark Stavig, P.E., Associate; Jill Connell, P.E., LEED® AP; Lisa Rosenow, CSBA, LEED® AP; Robert Kuchcinski, P.E.; Marc Rypdahl; and Frank Colon.

Lease Crutcher Lewis (Lewis) announces today the promotion of Andrew Dykeman to project manager.

Modern Machinery, the Komatsu distributor, is announced that Matt Johnson has joined the company as a Resident Field Technician. In his new position, Johnson will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment at job sites for customers throughout Eastern King County, and Yakima, Kittitas, Grant and Douglas counties.
