Clark/Kjos Architects has announced that, David
Frum in the Seattle office, and Alex
Hill along with Connie Ables
in the Portland office, have recently been named principals.
The firm of 25 (10 in Seattle, 15 in Portland) specializes
in architecture for health care.
Hill's recent responsibilities include managing projects
for Yakima Valley Farm Worker Clinics, Wallowa County Health
Care District, Silverton Hospital and Pacific Medical Buildings.
Hill also serves as CKA's Information Technology Manager.
He has been with the firm since 1997.
Frum has recently lead projects for Children's Hospital &
Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, Swedish Medical
Center, Grays Harbor Community Hospital and VA Puget Sound
Health Care System. He has been with CKA since 2004.
Ables oversees the administrative staff, human resources
coordination, and financial accounting. She has been with
CKA since 1994.
Brent Anderson has been named
trading manager of Sunbelt Rentals' Washington Division, which
includes twelve locations in Washington state. Brent joined
Sunbelt in 2001 with the acquisition of Super Rents, where
he had worked since 1990. Prior to being named Sunbelt's divisional
Trading Manager, Brent managed Sunbelt's Redmond, Wash. General
Tool & Equipment location.
CDi Engineers is announced the recent addition of four new
employees to the staff of its Lynnwood, Wash., mechanical
consulting firm. Dawne Herrick,
P.E., joined the firm in January 2005. She is a mechanical
engineer registered in both Washington and California. She
is currently working on projects at Everett Mall in Everett,
Wash. In addition, CDi Engineers has added three new CAD technicians
to its CAD department: Jaemin Yoo
joined the firm in December 2004, Bret Von Poppenberg in January
2005, and Andrea Osterday in February 2005. The company also
announced the following promotions: Rachelle
Lynch has been promoted to the position of Mechanical
Designer. She brings significant direct hands-on experience
with HVAC systems to her new position, having previously worked
for mechanical contracting firms where she ran projects at
Microsoft and worked as both Foreman and Detailer, as well
as doing installation on several tenant improvement jobs.
Lynch joined CDi in 2001 as a CAD technician, and is in the
process of working toward an engineering degree. Greg
Enlow has been promoted to fill the position of Information
Support Specialist. With a long-time interest in information
technology, Enlow previously served as the back-up Information
Services person for the firm, and has now become CDi's "point
person" for all computer and technology issues. Enlow
joined CDi in 1998 as a CAD technician, and plans to earn
his MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) Certification.
The Graham group of companies recently hired Larry
Wiberg and Lou Zonta.
Wiberg has been hired as president in the Spokane office of
Graham Construction and Management, Inc. formerly known as
Shea Graham Construction Inc. Zonta has been hired as vice
president, business development in the growing Puget Sound
office of Graham Contracting Ltd.
Wiberg is a native of the Pacific Northwest with over 30
years of experience in the construction industry. Zonta is
also a native of the Pacific Northwest with over 20 years
of experience in the commercial real estate and construction
industries.
BNBuilders, a West Coast general contracting firm based in
Seattle, recently hired new team members for its Washington
and California operations. Daphne Faulkner,
Sean Truesdale, and Victor
Posadas are the newest firm members. Both Faulkner
and Truesdale are project managers with experience working
on large, complex projects. Posadas is a superintendent with
25 years of experience.
DCI Engineers, civil and structural consulting engineers,
announces the hires of Matthew Toton
as structural project manager, Amanda
Johnson as structural project engineer, Robert
Ashton as civil project engineer and Edward
Miller and Scott Brown
as CAD Designers.
Toton has over eight years of structural engineering experience
on a wide variety of projects including residential, government,
military, commercial, retail, and tenant improvements. Johnson
is a structural project engineer. Ashton has been hired as
a Civil Project Engineer. He has more than 15 years experience
in civil engineering. He is currently spending his time on
the Everett Mall expansion project. Miller comes to DCI Engineers
with more than 17 years experience. He was hired as a CAD
Designer within the Civil Engineering department. Currently
Miller is working on civil designs for the Everett Mall Expansion
and the City of Mount Lake Terrace Fire Station. Brown was
hired on at DCI Engineers as a Structural Cad Designer. Brown
earned his CAD Drafting degree from ITT Technical Institute.
Currently Brown is doing work on projects including the Snohomish
County PUD Remodel and the FWDS Office Remodel in Edmonds,
Wash.
Judy Inmon promoted to director
of marketing at this fast growing firm
Portland, Ore. - Stormwater Management, Inc., has promoted
Judy Inmon to director of marketing. The company is also celebrating
its tenth anniversary. Inmon joined the company in early 2004
as marketing manager, and was instrumental in developing marketing
programs that helped the company achieve exponential growth.
