Welcome to Northwest Construction’s annual ranking of the greenest design firms in the region. The designers ranked below generated over $100 million in revenue from projects within Washington, Oregon and Alaska that were officially registered with a third party rating system such as LEED or equivalent. The ranking is based on 2009 revenue and only includes projects that are being built with certification as a goal.
Designers reported working on 279 projects that are seeking certification, down from 335 projects last year.
While the number of licensed architects among the top design firms went down by over 37%, the number of LEED-accredited professionals actually went up nearly 5% to 881 architects and engineers.
