Restaurant Design Contract
Portland, Ore. - MulvannyG2 Architecture was recently awarded
a contract with Waterloo Restaurant Ventures, Inc., franchisee
of Romano's Macaroni Grill chain, to design a modified prototype
for restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. The firm will design
five to 10 restaurants in Washington and Oregon over the next
two years, beginning with locations in Hillsboro and Tualatin,
Ore. Construction for the initial restaurants is scheduled
to be completed in September.
MulvannyG2's current roster of restaurant clientele includes
Washington-based Anthony's Homeport Restaurants and Ram International.
The design team working on the restaurants with MulvannyG2
includes Interface Engineering and Tim Froelich Consulting
Engineers. Negotiations are pending with SD Deacon for construction
services. Each restaurant is estimated to be roughly 6,500
sq. ft.
Coffman Engineers
Merges With Huntley Pascoe Inc.
Seattle - Coffman Engineers Inc., with Washington offices
in Seattle and Spokane, recently merged with the electrical
engineering design firm of Huntley Pascoe Inc., previously
located in Bothell, Wash. HPi's current staff of 14 relocated
to Coffman's Seattle office at the end of April.
Huntley Pascoe brings extensive electrical consulting experience
in the design, specification and construction administration
of healthcare, institutional, educational, commercial, industrial,
data processing, and system distribution projects.
Roger Huntley and Doug Pascoe originally founded HPi. Doug
Pasco retired last year, and Roger Huntley will remain with
CEI with plans for retirement at the end of the year. The
other two HPi partners, Chris Barker, P.E. and Paul Jones
III, P.E., will now be principals with CEI.
Coffman Engineers, Inc. is a multi-disciplined engineering
firm offering structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction/project
management services with offices in Spokane, Seattle, Los
Angeles, and Anchorage.
