MulvannyG2 Announces Portland Office Move

Portland, Ore - MulvannyG2 Architecture's Portland office is moving this month to a new, larger space on the 12th floor of downtown Portland's ODS Tower office building. The facility is owned by Wright Runstad and Company.

The move is in response to the company's growth in Portland.

The new MulvannyG2 Portland office will increase its square footage by 35 percent, from 8,722 sq. ft. to 13,528 sq. ft. This increased space will accommodate 70 employees, whereas the existing space is only able to accommodate 50.

The space will feature a refined, yet industrial look and feel. MulvannyG2 has incorporated recycled flooring, post-consumer steel, and re-claimed lumber throughout the new space.

Turner Honored For Community Service

Seattle - The Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild announced today that it has chosen Seattle's Turner Construction Company as the 2003 recipient of its Distinguished Community Service Award. The guild is recognizing Turner for its significant philanthropic efforts within Seattle-area communities. Turner is the first corporation to be honored in the award's 12-year history.

The Arnold Guild will present its Distinguished Community Service Award to Turner on Saturday, December 6 at the 28th annual Hutch Holiday Gala. This year's gala, the largest single fundraiser benefiting Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers.

The Arnold Guild was established in 1975 in memory of Grace Heffernan Arnold, a Seattle philanthropist. The guild's primary goal is to support Fred Hutchinson in the elimination of cancer as a cause of human suffering and death. The volunteer group plays an integral role in planning and executing the annual Hutch Holiday Gala and has raised more than $23 million to benefit cancer research at Fred Hutchinson.

Turner is the general contractor for the cancer research center's $87 million Public Health Sciences Building, which is wrapping up construction this month.
