AGC of Washington Safety and Construction Excellence Awards
Members and Projects Honored
The Associated General Contractors of Washington (Seattle) honored 16 member companies at its 19th Annual Safety and Construction Excellence Awards banquet on May 21.
The awards recognize the top projects, outstanding safety
programs, diversity development, and contributions to the
community.
PCL Construction Services Inc. of Bellevue, Wash., earned
the Construction Grand Award for the Everett Events Center,
which also earned the New Building Over $50 Million Construction
Award. Goodfellow Bros., Inc. earned the Safety Grand Award
for its outstanding construction safety program. Goodfellow
Bros. Inc. also won the Most Improved Contractor with the
Under 150,000 Worker Hours award.

A new award was presented this year to recognize a superintendent
for commitment to jobsite safety. This year the award was
given to Harvey Pegg from Mowat Construction Company. Pegg
was selected in recognition of his commitment to jobsite safety.
