Top Green General Contractors of 2009

Text size: A A

Welcome to Northwest Construction’s first annual ranking of the greenest general contractors in the region. The contractors ranked below were responsible for nearly $3 billion in green revenue from Washington, Oregon and Alaska-based projects that were officially registered with a third-party rating group such as the USGBC. The ranking is based on 2009 revenue and only includes projects that are being built with certification as a goal.

The second ranking examines the companies with the largest number of professionals and employees that have attained LEED accreditation or some other third-party sustainability accreditation. Each employee can only be counted once if they are accredited with multiple organizations.

We hope you find these new charts informative as a reflection of the level of commitment that northwest contractors have to sustainable construction practices.
